Oversees plans and coordinates use of facilities to deliver training to soldiers (Active Component/Reserve Component/National Guard) from all branches of military service, Department of Defense/Department of the Army civilians, foreign nationals, and government contractors. Administer security requirements described by office security staff. Maintain security documents, verify student’s identification, and obtain login data. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on video teleconferencing equipment, computer workstation equipment, printers, monitors, and network equipment. Implement standard operating procedures for asset and configuration management equipment. Work with Army Training Specialist on class schedules, and ensuring effectiveness of each session conducted. NORTEL NETWORKS (DEC 1999-NOV 2001) Senior Field Technician. Installation and commissioning of Nortel telecommunication equipment. As Site Team Leader, managed both Nortel and contracted employees. Maintained equipment from installation to turn-up. Installed, commissioned and upgraded DMS-100, MTX Additions (MEDP, DTC’s, MCAM, ICP’S). Installed, commissioned and turn up of TDMA TIGER 1900 Cell sites. Installed, commissioned and turn up of CDMA 800 Metro Cell, indoor and outdoor. Installed and commissioned Wireless Internet BTS (Base Transceiver Station). Conducted testing and connection of T1/E1 lines. Interpreted specifications and drawings as required for projects.
