3. M/s Lanco Solar P Ltd. Oct 2010 till Jan 2013.

Industry: Solar Photovoltaic Modules

Position : Head – Module Manufacturing

Accomplishment:

• This is one of the Unique plant in the country as this is a SEZ unit with Polysilicon, wafers, cells and modules manufacturing planned set up.

• The modules manufacturing plant started operating in May 2011.

• The module manufacturing plant is the first of its kind in the country with semi auto manufacturing set up.

• The plant layout and machinery have been done.

• The plant was started with initial capacity of 50Mw and subsequently increased to 75Mw With addition of few equipment’s and by increasing the speed of the Auto Tabber and Stringer.

• In the first year of its operation this plant produced 28Mw.

• Involved in the selection of the BOM for the modules.

• All the operations from Manufacturing, quality control and dispatch of the modules along with other operation related activities were handled by me.

• Also involved in the advising the productivity improvement methods for the installed solar PV power plants at Lathi and Kapurthala.

• Coordinated with PEDA officials for executing their PV power plant.

• Coordinated for the tolling of modules along with improvements in productivity improvements with two Indian module manufacturers. Page 4

4. M/s Titan Energy Systems Limited, Hyderabad. Jan 2007 till Sep 2010. Industry: Solar Photovoltaic Modules & Systems

Position: Sr.General Manager- Operations

Accomplishment:

• This is one of the leading unit which manufactures Solar Photovoltaic modules, which are mostly exported. This is the only company in the country which manufactures the solar modules from three different technologies namely,

a) Solar modules with Crystalline cells

b) Solar modules with Amorphous silicon(Thin film) c) Solar modules with CIGS cells(Thin film)

• This company had the manufacturing capacity of 24Mw and the line was totally manual.

• Worked with different equipment suppliers in identifying the equipment’s for Auto tabbing and stringing and ramped up the capacity to 96Mw.

• Worked on the conveyor system and designed, fabricated and installed conveyor system for modules movement.

• Instrumental in obtaining the module manufacturing agreement with M/s Suniva – the solar cell manufacturer from USA, I was the Account Manager for the production and supply of modules to M/s Suniva.

• I was the Account Manager for the thin film modules made for Schott solar.

• First CIGS modules in India were made in this facility in cooperation with a USA based firm, I was involved in designing the modules selecting of the components and production of the modules, which were subsequently sent for certification and the same was obtained successfully.

• Also involved in the setting up of 1st solar power plant in the country in Jamuria.

• Involved in the designing, coordinating and successful completion of the 3Mw solar power plant for KPCL, Karnataka.

• Was the MR for the company for ISO implementation and following. 5. M/s Vuppala Magnetic Components P Ltd, Hyderabad. Nov 2005 till Dec 2006 Industry: Telecom Equipment Manufacturing

Position : Works Manager (General Manager- Projects) Accomplishment :

• This is a new unit which has entered into supplying the products to M/s BSNL. The unit was having approval for supply of SMPS unit but had not commenced the bulk production.

• Proper structure was planned by establishing a Quality control wing, Production wing, Stores wing etc needed for a smooth running of an organization.

• After imparting proper training the product was launched for mass production and then was submitted to QA wing of M/s BSNL and testing was done and units started going to the field.

• Role involved from planning, procurement of components, production scheduling, internal testing, customer inspection scheduling and dispatch of the inspected lot.

• Getting a team trained for imparting knowledge to the clients on how to use the product and also to service rectify the product.

• I started in this organization as quality Control Engineer and slowly got elevated to the post of Quality Control Manager.

• The works carried out in this organization were basically involved in the products getting approved by TEC (Telecom Engineering Centre) and then putting the same into production, coordinate with QA wing of the DOT to get the product tested and cleared for dispatch.
