Design and Development of PC based Journal Bearing Apparatus The sole purpose of this project is to design and fabricate a journal bearing, to make it an economical design and yet fulfill its purpose for conducting experiments. This test apparatus allow the end user to visualize the behavior of any bearing under different working condition. Even the effect of shaft and housing elastic deformation on pressure distribution within oil film is also investigated through suitable analysis software.
