Downer - FIBER NETWORK DESIGNING (FTTH) Project

The project involves developing the MDU designs to build a fiber network in the field. The MDU Design will be developed in a document format as per client requirement. The survey images are provided by client through KST web site (Kordia portal) from field survey. By using those images we are developing MDU designs. Roles & Responsibilities:

Worked from the Pilot stage in this project.

Production done on all kind of scenarios.

o Creation of Design documents using MS Word.

o This MDU design requirements are Survey images from Kordia Portal, Spatial NET images.

o Integrity checklists is the first level.

o If all requirements are satisfied as per the rule base then pass the ICL

(Integrity Check List) and start the design.

o The MDU Design will be developed in a document format as per client requirement.

o Arranging photos in the word document taken from the Kordia portal and provide required information in text box to follow the deign instructions. o Writing Scope of Work (SOW) for clear design details. o We give detail Information of conduit size and length passing through to each and every photo clearly.

o Placement of Poles, Pits, Multiport, trenches and PCDs at the desired/proposed locations as per field data.

o Checking the Spatial NET plan and give Device interconnection table and Bill of materials.

UCG - FIBER NETWORK ASBUILTS (FTTH) Project

Software:Spatial NET (6.2.2)

The objective of the project is As-Built designing for the NBN Co MDUs utilizing the passive network architecture has an inherent hierarchy of connectivity, and dependent on fiber demand, the MDU solutions connect into the external network at either an Access Joint (AJL), a Local Joint (LJL), or a Distribution Joint (DJL). Which defines the high level architecture of the passive fiber network and applies it to the design of the NBN Co network which includes the Distribution Fiber Network, Fiber Distribution Hubs, Local Fiber Network and Fiber Allocations

Roles & Responsibilities:

Worked as one of the key persons in this project.

Production done on all kind of scenarios and most of the complicated sites/large EUP sites.

o Study the field data. And Designing the Horizontal and vertical MDUs. o Verification and validation of MDU address in Spatial NET. For invalid GNAFs we will fail the file.

o Design the fiber network from the MPT or CTL to end customer in Spatial NET.

o Designing the cable network (MSS, SDS, PDC and PIC) from MPT to the Houses (PCD and ICD) as per the field data with Spatial NET tools. o Fiber Splicing and Equipment connectivity.

o Capture and Design the UG structures such as Pits, trenches, ducts, End caps and Man holes using Spatial NET platform.

o Capture and Design the Aerial structure like Poles. o Capture and Designing of trench route and cable network from MPT to PCDs using Spatial NET platform.

NBNCO Fibre Network Redline Mark-up ASBUILTS (LFN) Project Software:Spatial NET (6.2.2)

The objective of the project is to update the Distribution and Local Fibre Network in spatial NET as per construction. Need to capture the newly found existing network and newly constructed network in spatial NET as per field data provided in the Redline mark- up document (NBN input document). Update the structures, location of equipment’s and cables as per mark-ups provided in input document. Roles & Responsibilities:

Production started in the first week of June 2015. o Updating the Local Fibre Network in spatial NET as per the field updates provided in input PDF document.

o Capturing newly found Telstra network in spatial NET as per provided field data.

o Capturing new NBN network in spatial NET as per instruction provided in redline mark-up document.

o Relocating equipment’s.

o Changing the cable routes.

o Checking the splice connectivity at joint locations wherever it is required. o Run Address QA report.

o FDH to address connectivity report.

o LJL and AJL splice summery report.

o Export/Import OSP Asset details

o Run SLD (Straight Line Diagram).

Project Title: HFC network

Software:Spatial NET (6.2.2)

The main objective of this project is to capture the HFC design data with the reference of AS-Built Documentation. Capturing of HFC network in horizontal or vertical or both models as per given inputs by UCG. For this first we have to review the AS-Built Documentation, Construction notes, then we capture data, which includes PCDS, RF cables, Taps, Passive devices in spatial net with respective to the whether it is Horizontal HFC or Vertical HFC. After completion of capturing we have to generate QA Screen shot and export device details and delivers the completed site to Universal Communications Group.

Roles and Responsibility:

Checking the work orders and updating the data in spatial NET.

Creating the new drop cables and required connections to the MDU (Multi Dwelling Unit) if required.

After placing the new connections, splicing and tracing is done.

Required information is exported from spatial NET & imported back. Essential Energy – Australia

Puget Sound Energy is a largest Gas and Electrical distribution company in US. This project involved in conversion of Puget electrical features and provide this data to field verification in PGDB format. After verifying the respective attributes need to cross check the data and provide the same data in Small world 4.1.2 to client. Roles & Responsibilities:

In this first we are arranging the conduit information. After that we have to capture secondaries as per source maps. Finally we have to arrange primaries. In this place As it takes much complexity to shift in MicroStation . We export the data to PGDB in ArcGIS using of export tool.
