Mechanical maintenance of Barrel type full cartridge Motor Driven & Steam Driven Boiler Feed Pumps of capacity 1150 m3/hr.

Mechanical maintenance of Vertical Multi-Stage Condensate Extraction Pumps (CEP) of capacity 930 m3/hr.

Mechanical maintenance of Static equipment like HP heaters, LP heaters, De-aerator, Gland Steam Condenser, Auxiliary steam header, Condenser, Plate type Heat Exchangers, Coolers, HP & LP Flash Tanks, Lube Oil Equipment s such as MOT, Duplex filter, COT/DOT, Condensate Polishing Unit, CPU-Regeneration unit etc.

Mechanical maintenance of Rotatory equipment like CCCW pump, ACW pump, Stator Water pump, Seal oil pumps(Air side & H2 side), Chemical dosing pumps, Condensate fill pumps, Lube oil purifier, Vacuum pump, Vapor Extraction Fans, Blowers, AOP,EOP,HPSOP,EH Oil pumps, etc.

Mechanical maintenance of RSVs, IVs, TVs, GVs, LP/HP bypass Valves and all type of Control Valves & MIVs, MOVs, etc.

Assisting in Welding & NDT activates of HP&LP piping.

Managing material requirement as per planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES -

Preparation of MSVs, RSVs, HP/LP Bypass Valves for Steam Blowing, Maintenance and normalizing the same after Steam Blowing.

Pre-commissioning & commissioning activities like Turbine Lube Oil (Including Seal oil, Jacking Oil), Control Oil flushing, HP/BP Control valve hydraulic oil flushing and BFP s Lube oil flushing.

Commissioning work in Water system like Generator Stator water system, CCCW system, ACW System.

Condenser flood test.

Alkali flushing in condensate water system, Feed water system, Drip system.

Commissioning for Generator gas system & Generator Air Tightness Test.

Steam Blowing of Aux Steam System, Gland Seal Steam System & Main Steam, CRH and HRH Lines, HP & LP Bypass Lines.

Overhauling of TDBFP Booster pump & MDBFP Booster pump.

Commissioning of Rubber ball collector system for condenser tubes cleaning.

Quality checking while control valve erection after chemical cleaning & steam blowing work in pipe.

Designation / Duration: Engineer STG Erection and Commissioning / Aug 2009 to Jan 2012.

RESPONSIBILITIES -

Erection and Commissioning of 660MW Super Critical Reheat Condensing Steam Turbine (Type: N660-24.2/566/566, Make: Shanghai Electric Equipment) which includes complete installation of a combined High and Intermediate Pressure (HIP) Turbine, two nos. of Low Pressure Turbines and each two nos. of Main Steam Value (MSV), Reheat Stop Valve (RSV).

Complete assembly of Combined HIP turbine, LP Turbine and setup it Radial and Axial Clearances of fixed and rotating compounds in TOPS OFF & TOPS ON condition, set up of Tilting Pad Bearings, Thrust Bearing, Turning Gear assembly, and alignment of all rotors, coupling.

Erection of 660MW Water-Hydrogen Cooled Turbo Generator (Type: QFSN-660-2) which includes Stator lifting and placement on foundation of by using Strand Jack Mechanism, End shield & Gland Seal Body assembly, Rotor Threading, erection of Hydrogen Coolers, Terminal Bushing and erection & alignment of Exciter with generator rotor.

Conducting mechanical tests such as Generator Rotor Air Purging Test, Rotor Airtight test, Generator air tightness test, Hydro test of Stator Coil Cooling Water Circuit & Hydrogen Coolers and setting Rotor Air Gap, Fan guard & End Winding clearances.

Planning, scheduling, monitoring & timely execution of erection and commissioning activates of steam turbine and generator.

Coordinate with Client representative for final inspection of turbine generator alignments, clearance reading as per technical requirement and maintain protocols accordingly.

Ensure proper quality standards & safety rules being adopted during erection and assembly of steam turbine and generator components.

To participate in coordination meetings with client as well as contractor to review progress weekly and monthly & in same meeting set future planning to complete the project within scheduled time.

Study and understanding of erection drawings (section dwg; construction dwg; P&ID; alignment specification, flushing/blowing procedure; piping specification; etc.), technical documents and ensuring proper sequence of erection to meet the schedule and quality standards.

Manage day to day erection activities to reach the schedule targets by optimum utilization of manpower and resources.

Responsible for cross checking all required inputs are gathered and arranged for scheduled work.

Educational Qualifications -

Diploma (MECHANICAL) from Shri Sai polytechnic, Chandrapur Affiliated to MSBTE Mumbai with aggregate of 65.27% in 2009.

Intermediate (H.S.C.) from Shri Shivaji Collage Rajura, with aggregate of 52.00% in 2006.

S. S. C from Z.P.H School, Rajura, with aggregate of 65.73% in 2004.
