While this has been my main focus, I did attend a 5 week Maersk Vendor familiarization training courses for Hydril, NOV, Kongsburg, Swaco, Lips and others. TRANSOCEAN

Houston, TX – Mar 1999 to Apr 2000. Sub-sea Support Team. Went through 2 weeks Transocean Sub-sea Training School. As a Sub-sea support team member I traveled to individual deepwater vessels whenever moving stack or rebuilding or repairs were required. This training was immensely accelerated by not just working on one rig on a normal hitch. Have also worked on hydraulic and multiplex deepwater drilling systems. Consisting of Shaffer, Hydril, and Cameron’s BOP’s.

Accomplishment: As a dual team we completed all our assignments before required time. Completed Industrial Hydraulics training with National Fluid Power Institute.

HYDRIL COMPANY

Houston, TX. – Mar 1998 to Mar 1999. Electronic & Hydraulic Technician. For Sub-sea multiplex BOP system for deep water drilling domestic and international. Troubleshoot breakdowns to component level in Electronics, PODS, Flow Meters, and Plumbing for various Hydraulic functions. Worked closely with Software Programmers, Computer Hub 10 base T Tech for system integration testing. Ability to complete job with incorrect or missing documentation through interaction with engineers, project managers, management and customers from foreign countries to U.S. Provide production and expense project reports.

Accomplishment: Repaired flow meter ICB without schematic to prevent shutdown of SIT Testing while waiting two weeks for a new board.
