Managed the engineering portion of a 40-million-dollar program, Strato launch to build a new composite heavy lift (payload) experimental aircraft with Scaled Composites/Northrop. Responsible for directing all engineering activities for this program with a staff of 23. Two Boeing 747-400 aircraft systems would be used for this new aircraft and their systems would be redesigned to operate within the new aircraft. Directed the following systems, Hydraulic, landing gear, brakes, flight controls (actuators), pneumatic, fuel, propulsion and electrical.
