OBJECTIVE: Looking for a position in R&D, product development, sales or customers’ technical support, in which I can use my knowledge of polymers, methods of plastics processing and manufacturing, additives, coupling agents, pigments, etc.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE: Compounding of PVC, rigid and flexible and plastisols, and CPVC, PP, PE, for various applications. Designing of customized additives packages, i.e. application and selection of fillers and extenders; UV, and Heat stabilizers, lubricants, Impact Modifiers, and other additives used in the art. Experience in profile, pipe, sheet and film extrusion; compounding extrusion, calendering, injection molding and blown-film manufacturing, dip, knife, and roll coating of various substrates with plastisols, extrusion coating.

Development custom rigid and flexible PVC compounds, i.e. window and door profiles, fencing, decking and railing, various internal rigid PVC profiles. Flexible PVC profiles, tubing, cable insulation, extrusion coating compounds

2013-2017 –Consulting in the field of compounding rigid, flexible PVC, plastisols, CPVC, PO based wood-plastic composites, extrusion coating formulations

2008- 2013: Veyance Technology/Belt Concept of America(Former Goodyear Engineered Products); Spring Hope, North Carolina; Plant Chemist/Compounding Chemist

Develop new and improve existing PVC based plastisol formulations for the manufacturing of conveyor belts and other coated technical fabrics

Carried new formulations development from lab stage through plant trials into introduction to regular production. Organized and supervised plant trials

Assisted purchasing in certification and selection of additives and resins from various suppliers.

Investigated failures of the product in the field and on Sales request provided

customer with advice what product fits better his requirements. Developed customized product technical specs according individual customer requirements
