Inspecting the incoming materials for damages dimensions and ensures that according to the requirements. Ensure satisfactory identification of materials and proper protection. Verify proper size and schedule.

All quality control activities associated with the main contractors as follows: documentation and all kind of engineering documentations and drawings, fabrication, welding and NDT.

Review NDE procedure and their acceptance & rejection criteria

Performing inspection of fit-up and dimensional as per isometric and checking with test packages, punch clearing and performing inspection as per approved procedure.

Perform Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement on Hull Structures.

Inspect construction of hulls, compartments, Water Ballast tanks, and decks of ships for conformance to plans specifications

Examine hulls, hull fittings and riveting for defects and alignment of plating framing

Inspect painted surfaces.

Observe testing of Water Ballast tanks, decks, and compartments for strength of material water tightness.

Inspect piping,Water Ballast tanks and valves of ships service system during Survey

Record inspection data

May inspect commissioned vessels, afloat or in dry-dock, for corrosion or deterioration in outer hull, double bottoms, sea chests, and other structural parts.

Work assigned in ships Oil Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Liquefied Gas Carriers…

Check the fit-up of joint for proper alignment as per drawing & checking conformance to requirement of the welding procedure.

Carrying out in-process inspection to ensure that the Quality of job is accordance with the Customer, Surveyors and company quality requirements.

Interaction with CLIENT, SURVEYOR, CONSULTANT, & SUB- CONTRACTORS.

Carry out Q.C. Inspection [Inspection of Welding (Welding size, Undercut, pin holes, Welding profile, Spatters, Porosity, Lack of fusion, Blow holes, Arc strikes, Crater, Over reinforcement etc.)

Structural members (Dimensional checking, Alignment, Sharp edges, Trim, Buildup & Grinding, Missing of members)] as per Client / Class approved drawings & markings for corrections. Before final inspection of Client/Class makes sure all Q.C. remarks are attended & rectified.

UT gauging and supervision of Gauging on various vessels according to different class requirements like ABS, LRS, IRS, and NKK,BV.
