To Whom It May Concern:
I’m writing to express my interest in the position of medical transcriptionist; I feel that I’m the perfect candidate for the position, as I meet all the criteria you describe in your online ad.
I’ve worked in the capacity of a medical transcriptionist for over twenty five years, working at home, in a hospital setting, as well as a doctor’s office. I have always enjoyed editing; my attention to detail is optimum, and I’ve always found that to be a rewarding and satisfying part of the process of medical transcription.
I have excellent typing skills; I am fast and accurate. I specialize in orthopedics, pulmonary medicine, family practice, and psychiatry, though I do have knowledge of all medical specialties. I will not present a document to a physician unless it is one hundred percent on every level. I have a very solid work ethic, and am very organized and detail-oriented. I maintain a flexible schedule, and will do whatever it takes to complete my assignments. What I don’t know, I learn quickly. In short, I will work tirelessly for you. My high energy level and commitment is fueled by my intense interest in the medical field. I’m also open-minded, and will find a solution to any situation that presents itself; I very much enjoy a challenge.
Please contact me at any time; I’m excited to share with you how I can be an asset to you. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Allison Walkowski
