A request to be accepted as a licensed massage therapist (LMT) is due to the enduring decision to participate in therapeutic and preventive services to refine the clients’ quality of life. I passed Florida licensure, have a sufficient academic background, practical bodywork skills, and a Spa experience to practice successfully in this field.
Having medical graduation in the past, I’ve been practicing in the Ukraine and Russia in the neurology field and been involved in physiotherapeutic rehabilitation of patients using acupuncture and Manual Therapy; thus, the experience in manual bodywork is about 25 years.
In the United States, I am currently working as a massage therapist in a Massage Envy South Beach (clinic 0832) and enrolled in the Nursing education online, planning to restore myself in the nursing field after next two years. I had a volunteering experience with the Methodist Hospital of Brooklyn and the Presbyterian Hospital (neurosurgery department) of Manhattan (NY); Physical Therapy Aide experience in Doctor’s offices in Brooklyn and Bronx, NY. After moving to Florida (2012), I have been working shortly as a certified phlebotomy technician in a lab of Halifax Health Medical Center (Daytona Beach) before moving to Miami.
The current nursing enrollment online for next two years allows me to provide part- or full-time massage bodywork in Miami different areas relatively close to my residential location on Indian Creek Drive and 64th Street.
My manual bodywork is offered as a 60-120-minute massage approaching client's pain, stress and joints’ flexibility, or a facilitated healing when client just overloaded. It is a professional, safe, consistent, and ethical sessions of a deep structural myo-fascial massage, post-isometric relaxation, focusing on client's pain, stress, and body flexibility. During the service I am checking with the guest regularly to assure guest's comfort and pressure of massage, interacting with guests and fellow team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
Thank you for considering my request.
