PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
CHEVRON CORPORATION Houston, Texas 1997- 2015
Deepwater D&C Operations Engineer (2013- 2015)
Worked Angola rotation managing the Maersk Deliverer Moored and DP semi-Rig, Supported daily operation, drove improved performance and reduce Non-Productive Time (NPT). Delivered Deepwater MCP wells (drilled, frac pack, workover, interventions) on time and under budget.
Operations support included improving rig efficiency on Drillships, Tension Leg Platforms (TLP), Compliant Towers (CPT), Semi-Submirsibles, Jack-ups (JU), Tender Assited (TAD) and Hydraulic Workovers in various water depths. Well type designs included subsea horizontal trees, Stand Alone Screen (SAS), TLP High Pressure- High Temperature HPHT monobore dry tree and Miocene Frac Packs. First 4 deepwater wells saved $60 million and started up project 50 days ahead of schedule.
Developed process to capture and reapply Lessons Learned/ Best Practices, resulting in smoother operations and less NPT and reducted well costs manage/audit all D&C equipment. NPT reduced from 30% to 20% on the MCP.
Authored the first Company West Africa Deepwater Blowout Capping Stack Plan and Source Control website and facilitated the first Company Angola/Congo Blowout Capping Stack Table-Top Drill. This work helped to protect the Corporation in the event of a well control incident.
Deepwater D&C Team Leader (2007- 2013)
Served as Team Leader for a DW Global D&C Exploration Team for major MCP’s, with extensive rotational assignments l that canvassed Deepwater Projects in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Brazil, Singapore, India, Gabon, Angola and Malaysia.

Final Investment Decisions were made for two major projects in particular valued at $13 and $5 Billion and recieved Company recognition for reducing project cost and time on MCP’s..
Delivered assurance safety processes including Complex Well Identification Tools and Wellsafe Containment, relsuting in reducing well control risk to the Company.
Instructed D&C workshops on Horizontal drilling and ERD techniques, Stand-Alone-Screen (SAS) completions, Annular Pressure Build-up (APB) Mitigation and Well Interventions resulting in prompt approval for MCP’s.
Developed directional plans, probabilistic cost/schedules and tree procedures resulting in more accurate cost estimates.
Interviewed and hired personnel to work Safety and Horizontal Subsea Tree issues.
Delivered D&C well work including Cost Reduction Process, witnessed smart completions runs in test well, performed rig-site training, End-of-Well Summary reports and developed drilling and completion procedures resulting in reduced rig time.
