September 2017 – Current: Working as a school occupational therapist for West New York schools. Participate in IEP writing and implementation. Provide school base therapy as individual, group as well as push in model.

July 2012- June 2017: Worked as school occupational therapist for Forsyth County, GA Schools. Worked as a team member with resource teachers, speech and physical therapist to maximize students’ performance. Evaluate students from PK to middle school using standardized assessments.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, GA May 2011-June 2012. Worked as an outpatient pediatric therapist treating children with disorders like autism, ADHD, Developmental delays, Down’s syndrome, etc.

Worked under the supervision of Occupational Therapist in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, pediatric neurology and orthopedics. Worked in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a rotation of internship. Provided positioning and sensory strategies for premature infants. Educated families about handling and positioning. Level II fieldwork - Worked in an adult outpatient setting. Participated in work hardening program and assisting individuals to return to their occupations with modifications. Worked under the supervision of a hand therapist to fabricate splints and treat hand injuries.

Level I fieldwork – Observed and assisted Occupational Therapist in assessing patients with various orthopedic and neurological disorders, developed treatment programs and assisted therapist in implementing treatment programs.
