Get with supervisor to see what jobs need to go out first. Set up Mori Seiki and Puma lathes according to each job. Assist operators when they run into problems for example: tapers, opening or closing threads, adjusting grooves. Count parts at the end of the day and report to supervisor if any scrap happened and why.

Ran snap ring groove with tolerance of plus or minus .001” (linier) in some parts I had to hold tolerance of plus or minus .0005” (diameter). Had to train new employees either running new machinery or procedures and requirements of the manufacturing facility. My duties including being able to preformed in various machinery also known as a floater which in occasions I was asked to assist in the task of a cell lead. I have ran several parts in which require to use front and rear chucks which were in length over 25 feet long and also parts as small as 2 inches long. I also know how to adjust wall thickness on parts (UT).

Manual Flash Lathe Operator
Run flash lathe, cut rubber on power sections/down hole stators to proper cut back tolerance of +or-.03” with spade drill. Used hydraulic three jaw parts in lathe. Up to 32 inch cut back using spade, sometimes having to face off some of the stators for proper finish length and put weld bevel in some parts as determined per blueprint.

When in specifications send these products up in one of the two pasteurized machines (HTST's). Make sure the filler operators always have products to run. Job requires both physical and mental work; requires ability to multitask. Be able to lift more than fifty pounds constantly for long periods of time.
