Logistics, Material replenishment specialist, Material Handler I unload trucks every day and put the skids in designated areas, like for example machine parts stay inside and sheet metal can go outside if there is no room inside because it has a primer on it and cannot rust. I organize parts as they come in from the receiving end and get those parts processed and put away in their designated areas like stock or machine kits for the days the mechanics or build cell would need them. It ranges from smaller parts as in gears and bearings to elevating shafts and side frames which would need a fork lift or crane to lift and put on skid or deliver right away if there is room in the build cells. Now when I am all caught up and have free time on my hand I either help out other areas if they need it to help my team stay on top of things or I straightened out and clean up my area using 7S workplace organization.

Machinist or Thermoformer which is hardguard- making parts with plastic to melted plastic to form a part with a mold in Baltimore, Md

Temp From – 06/10-10/2009

Hired on full time 10/2009-10/2010

Actively suggested operational improvements to enhance quality, improve production times and reduce cost. I adjusted machine set up from beginning with the mold to the upper arms that were needed in exact position to form the part correctly. After the set up I would have to set up speed control and temp control on the oven side of it for melting the plastic because you wanted to go as fast as you could without making things to hot and messing things up. I helped achieved company goals by supporting production workers and running two machines at once sometimes which means you need to be on top of your game. We would run one part first to make sure it was up to customer standards and if it was then we were set to go and run the machine till all the quantity of numbers were done and more in case of any mistakes in sub assembly or anywhere like the cutting out of the machine with our other machines the motion masters which would cut out parts down to the exact measurement, and that was a hard job not like making bowling bowl cores.
