QUALITY CONTROL & NDE ACTIVITIES

Technically competent ASNT - Level II offering rich and diverse experience in the areas of

Supervising Pipe fabrication and erection as per approved Isometric drawings

Inspection of welding and mechanical activities that includes Verification of materials to be used, Inspection & testing of welding equipment also Visual inspection of welding.

Preparation and Review of NDT reports, supervising & monitoring the NDT Activities, Preparation and maintaining of quality records like Inspection test plan, quality control procedures and method of settlements, quality certificates, test packs and documents.

Inspection of difference type of material like CS, SS, DSS, ALLOY, Monel, Inconel Materials.

Witness and evaluation of Heat Treatment process like Pre- heating, Post-heating & PWHT

To execute overall on piping fabrication and erection works include identification of materials, coordination for the qualification of welders, inspection of site as per isometric, fabrication of pipe spool, organize inspection of welding, coordination for the NDT, installation of piping, hydro testing and box up activities as per given drawing and procedure.

Preparation of different types of work permits for the mechanical activities, attend the Permit To Work training classes, identify and control the hazards, site visit with client, preparation for site audit etc

Interpretation of codes, standards, specifications. Recommended practices, project specifications, Preparation of quality planes, work instructions & Engineering. Familiar with codes and Standards: - ASME Sec II, V, IX, VIII-Div 1, B31.3.

Review the Quality documents of ITP/WPS/PQR/WPQRS, Specification, Drawings, Material certificates, Material Traceability, NDT Procedures and NDT Qualification records for the Projects assigned.

Interpretation of Radiography film & review for client.

Preparing and compiling quality reports and other quality related documents for activity acceptance and final project hand over.

Conducting and offering Visual Inspection of weld including weld measurement using weld gauges and weld surface discontinuity identification.

Involved in conducting and maintaining the records of Welder Qualification test (WQT) and welder performance, Visual Inspection and NDT reports.

Ensuring & inspecting work in progress as per approved WPS; checking right kind of material used for welding.

Ensuring and offering percentage wise RT and PT depending on materials and relevant documents get signed by the inspector.

Loop clearance, coordinating Hydro testing & Pneumatic test.
