Project: Med Protect provides detailed medication reviews for Village Health patients using data from the Village Health electronic medical record system (Capella). The process of identifying interventions and taking action on these interventions is a manual one. A patient list is generated which is then reviewed by a DaVita Rx Med Protect teammate to determine whether an intervention is needed. Once the list is filtered the interventions are performed by following written protocols and faxing prescribers as needed. Prescriber responses are manually sorted and processed by a Med Protect teammate.

Responsibilities:

Involved in Requirements Collection, Design & Analysis, Development and Deployment of the Application.

Effectively used billing systems and order management.

Engage business partners to gather software requirements/business rules, and ensure alignment with development teams.
