ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS:
Awarded graduate assistantship at Southern Illinois university Edwardsville (SIUE) in office of admissions for spring 2017.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Master’s Degree Project August’2016 – May’2017
Simulation Study on Crash Performance of a Vehicle Front Rail using Finite Element Analysis.
Primary focus is to simulate and study of crash performance on vehicle front rail using finite element analysis.
MATLAB codes that simulate the stresses acting during the crash.
The designed shall be run for some material properties and its results will be verified with that of ABAQUS and MATLAB program’s results.
Bachelor’s Degree Project August’2013-May’2014 Fabrication and analysis of composite drive shaft.
The project involves designing seven material shapes containing notches, cracks, cavities etc. in ANSYS workbench, ANSYS and further analyzing their behavior under static and dynamic loading conditions for loads differing in both magnitude and direction.
Material properties of Al alloy 6061 were imported in designs and subsequent simulation results were analyzed.
Comparing results obtained for different material shapes accurately depicted effects notches, cracks, cavities on material properties and behavior towards load conditions.
