Worked full time for nationwide environmental and engineering consulting firm
Duties included field sampling of soil, groundwater and soil vapor for chemical analysis, as well as inspection and quality assurance testing of construction materials at various project sites in NC & SC
Tasks included office and field work following strict OSHA safety procedures as well as ASTM protocols in sample collection, laboratory testing of construction materials including soil and concrete testing, data review and interpretation, and report preparation as well as general office duties
Completed OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPPER, Red Cross CPR and First Aid training and certification.
Raleigh Metal Recycling, Raleigh, NC – Quality Control Handler May-August 2016
Worked full-time (40-45 hours per week) at a large industrial metals recycling facility
Duties included receiving items from customers, interaction with customers assessing and sorting items based on types of metal, pricing of scrap metal, and maintaining safety as well as efficiency
Tasks were completed using bailers, forklifts, bobcats, industrial shears, and manual labor in a fast-paced environment to meet company standards and customer expectations
