Analyze and estimate project cost. Create bid documents, do take-offs, obtain, and negotiate bids from a variety of subcontractors. Develop, coordinate, and oversee schedules to meet project deadlines. Coordinate daily operations and completing work in a timely scheduled manner. Ensure adherence to budget in terms of purchases, cost control, and subcontractor work. Provide quality control of construction contracts to ensure their work meets trade standards. Administer good construction safety practices and keep site clean, neat, and organized. Coordinate inspections and directly oversee work progress and construction sites on a daily basis. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety codes, and other regulations. Liaison to architect, engineer, subcontractors, tenant(s), and city and county officials.
