Job title - Support Specialist (Administrative Clerk)

Independently responsible for different avenues related to personnel security. Reviewed, evaluated and adjudicated reports of investigations to recommend whether to grant, deny, revoke, suspend or restrict security clearances consistent with security and/or suitability issues under the guidance of either the senior security specialist or top level management. This responsibility required me to communicate information orally or in written presentation, sufficient to describe controversial security issues and recommend a course of action.

Experience with and knowledge of security principles, concepts, and methodologies sufficient to review, evaluate and adjudicate reports of investigations.

Assisted in administering the personnel security program to assure that USOPM requirements governing position sensitivity and employee suitability were met. As well as, assure that appropriate action was taken when personnel security investigations reflect derogatory information.

Additional duties included, but not limited to:

Independently create daily manifest for customers

Process all incoming mail/reports

Assign case managers incoming cases/leads to ensure rapid case processing time

Scope all new add leads and post to the internet
