Manage the security/loss prevention at the distribution center (DC) for Barneys New York, a high- end department store. The DC is the distributor of all items sold throughout the United States. In 2012 almost $1 billion in merchandise entered and left the DC. Initiate/conduct investigations of Shrink (Loss/Theft) in cooperation with stores throughout the USA. Provide leadership/subject matter expertise and motivation to assigned employees during investigations; provide overall supervision including performance evaluations, discipline, scheduling and payroll.
