OBJECTIVE .
To obtain a role as a Cisco Collaboration/Voice Engineer because I have considerable experience in the fields of Unified Communications and Strategic Planning. I am seeking a position to not only better my personal knowledge base, but to put my current skill-set to relevant use, and hopefully grow my fellow peers’ skill-sets, and future employer as well! Collaboration Engineer Tier II
As a Tier II Collaboration Engineer, I am the escalation point for priority service requests from the Service and Support desk, although my primary role entails project work. On a regular basis, I perform application upgrades, as well as some firmware upgrades on ESXi for non-production servers/hosts. During off-hours, I work during a client-provided maintenance window to perform upgrades on production environments for Call Manager, Unity Connection (including COBRA migrations), and Contact Center Express. I have also performed upgrades on VistaPoint/VPLite systems. I am accustomed to a Monday-Friday 7am-4pm remote office schedule, with approximately a 70/30 split with after-hours maintenance windows, along with participating in an on-call rotation 3 times a year.

This assisted me in achieving my Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician certification (CCENT), as well as allowed me to succeed while performing client upgrades.
