GRADUATION PROJECT SUMMARY

My project was about water desalination by using the solar energy.

I made full entire design of solar collector design (parabolic trough type).

I made a load estimation of solar geometry with using ashrea and hottel models and made calculation of average irradiation during the year.

I made a full entire design of a boiler used, and a full entire design of a heat exchanger, and full entire design of flash boxes used in MED part. Grade: Excellent

Position: Maintenance Manager (Head of Mechanical Department). From: 1/5/2018 till Now.

Project: AL-AZHAR PARK.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Responsible for all maintenance operations.

Diagnose breakdown problems.

Design preventive maintenance plans, strategies, procedures, and methods.

Monitor and control maintenance cost.

Prepare all reports about the maintenance operations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Report to Director of Engineering.

Responsible for the potable water network and sewage water network maintenance and following up them including (booster tanks, water treatment stations, pipe lines, manholes, and sump pits).

Responsible to make all maintenance programs for all equipment of potable water network and sewage network (pumps (especially grundfos types), Electric and control panels, Generators).

Preparation and scheduling of all preventive maintenance programs (daily, weekly, monthly and annually) for equipment and ensure that the work is actually being done as described.

Follow up all chemicals and water treatment dealing with booster and irrigation pumps and pipes to prevent corrosion and scaling.

Responsible for the generators and providing its preventive maintenance from catalogues.

Ensure the quality of all work completed by both employees and external contracted staff adheres to the standards of good engineering practice.

Ensure the effective financial management of the maintenance department by setting maintenance budgets, capital works programs and engineering plans and ensuring that performance against there are regularly monitored and reviewed.

Follow up the staff training improving their way of working.

Final handling over for new sokhna project that concern water network (as- built drawing, operation and maintenance manuals etc.
