Job Profile

Overall financial reporting responsibility, this includes monthly financial statements, analytical reports, compiled in MIS submitted to the Board and the bank.

FP&A, preparing & maintain budgets, analysis of variances and most important discussing and educating the production team about cost vs actuals.

Dealing with lenders, their examiners, outside auditors.

As a leader takes responsibility to train & develop the staff level skill set.

Handled multiple special projects as needed including real estate lease negotiation, Implemented new ERP system and also made improvements after implementation.

AMTEC Molded Products, Inc. - (Head of operations)

This subsidiary of AMTEC is in plastic Injection Molding business. I was given the additional responsibility of heading the operations with a task to turnaround to profitability. I brought stability to its operation and also same time added a new customer which grew to become the largest customer for the company. The plant completely turned around and registered net profit and EBITDA of 9%.

As head of operations responsible for the entire day to day operations and also the future growth of the plant. Took many key strategic decisions such as appointed a dedicated sales team, Implemented New ERP to ensure real time data and information, created back up for every department and individual by cross training, focused on training the workforce to create a long term skilled workforce.

From October 2003 to June 2006

Ucal Fuel Systems Ltd. (an Indian Corporation listed in Bombay stock exchange and Madras stock exchange).

Responsibility was as similar to a plant controller: Reported to the VP of finance at the corporate. I was responsible for accounting, costing and taxes. I was leading a team of 7 people at the plant level.

Participated in the implementation of the ERP (Oracle). Took the lead role at the plant level.

Education

I have passed the CPA exam in first attempt with a score of 87.50%. Also I’m a Chartered Accountant (India) with 14+ years’ of experience.
