Profile and experience:

Bachelor in Medical Science (MD) concentrating in general medicine. Grants, contracts administration of 11 years with international organization in post conflict settings. Grants, contractor administrator with strong focus on system development towards smooth implantation of pre and post award cycles in grants, contracts management and establishment of systems that is responsive for achieving organization goals and objective. • Administered Health (Nutrition) project grants portfolio of $8 million, developed the grants management manual considering terms and condition of prime award between USAID and FHI360

• Developed solicitation documents like Annual program statement (APS) and Request for Application (RFA) for funding opportunities in the project in the pre-award stage.

• Received, reviewed grant concepts, litter of interests and full grant application for compliance. Organized Technical Evaluation Committee, worked with applicants in their application revisions and budget development.

• Conducted risk assessment of potential grant recipients, and included special award conditions as per the results of the assessment. Provided training to the grantees’ staff on corrective measures and full fill the requirement of special award conditions.

• Established a functional grants, contract and procurement team to manage the grants, contract and procurement portfolio of the project. Managed team of 6 grants, subcontract and procurement officers.
