CAREER INTENTIONS
In India the healthcare needs are immense and there is a wide disparity between the needs and available resources. Additionally the healthcare services are a mix of public funded, private healthcare and services provided by charitable institutes. During my career I have always been associated with charitable institutions Kempegowda institute of Medical sciences / Teaching Hospital which provide services to the poorest-of-poor either free of cost are at very concessional rates. I would like to learn the current radiological practices and advanced techniques in this field and later aim to settle in my city to provide the best radiological care for my society.

Briefly about my residency programme:
An extensive schedule of Specialty-Radiology sessions, Case-presentations, Film-Reading Sessions, Seminars, Journal clubs, Thesis presentations, Unit discussions, Faculty Lectures and Radiology Quizzing sessions complement the rigorous training in Radiodiagnosis. I was an active participant in all the academic sessions. It gave me an excellent grounding in the “Art & Science of Diagnostic & Therapeutic Radiology.
My Radiological training was divided across university teaching rural, urban hospitals and speciality posting at NIMHANS I have gained experience in all the current radiogical practices .
1.Achievements:
a.Thesis / dissertation work entitled,
“COMBINED MAMMOGRAPHIC AND ULTRASONOGRAPHIC EVALUATON OF PALPABLE BREAST LESIONS” Thesis has been evaluated and accepted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the award of M.S (Radiodiagnosis) degree
b.Presented a Paper entitled, “DOES THE CONVENTIONAL MAMMOGRAPHY STILL PLAYS ANY RLE IN DETECTING BREAST LESIONS” at IRIA AGRA 2014.
c.Presented a Poster entitled,”MISME SYNDROME-A RARE CLINICAL ENTITY” at IRIA AGRA 2014.
d.Published a Journal entitled, HRCT versus MDCT IN DETECTION OF BRONCHIECTASIS” IN Journal of evaluation of medical and dental sciences in september,2014
