Objective

Coordinator for two workshops: Sutures (August 2013) and Blood Pressure, and Special Physical Exams (November 2013), wherein I provided demonstrations and explanations to underclassmen in the relevant topics, i.e. basic suture technique, evaluating blood pressure, blood sugar, and visual acuity, as well as performing Rinne’s and Weber’s test.

Receptionist: Fielded phone calls and faxes, scheduled appointments and meetings with financial coordinators, and created a more organized manner of filing patient information and other office paperwork. Provided initial contact point for new international patients, providing information on insurance acceptability, necessary documents, and probable costs of treatment as well as travel.

Day Matron: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of a rotating set of five floors of the Lehman Brothers Building in Times Square. This included cleaning and stocking cubicles, restrooms, pantries and conference rooms.

Administrative Assistant: Fielded phone calls, filed and processed requests from building tenants. Assigned porters or day matron, as appropriate to aforementioned requests, otherwise, forwarded requests to more appropriate offices and offered completion follow-up upon request. Provided analysis of vacation scheduling and payroll using Microsoft Excel. Catalogued personnel files, with full confidentiality.
Fordham University: Behavioural Psychology Lab May 2011- April 2012
Research Assistant: wrote and edited programs based in Med-State Notation, ran experiments regarding the phenomena of equivalence in pigeons, and conditioned behaviours in rats, was responsible for proper data collection, allocation, and analysis, using MatLab, MedState Notations, and Microsoft Excel. Continued as a volunteer until 4/12.

Medical Scribe: obtain complete medical history, chief complaint and history of present illness from patients and concisely present all gathered and pertinent information to physician; enter all patient information accurately into EMR, as well as send prescriptions using the EMR to pharmacy interface; send electronic referrals to specialist, field and send out STAT, urgent, and routine orders for CT/MRI/US imaging; perform vitals, throat swabs, nasal swabs, Snellen’s tests, urinalyses, urine HcG testing; prep and assist for IV fluid replenishment, incision and drainage procedures, foreign body removal, suture/staple placement and removal. Train and onboard in coming team members as senior scribe.
Adjunct Professor of Clinical Science, Windsor University August 2017-Present
Prepare coursework, lectures, and home-work for 24 students, via webinar classes, twice weekly. Prepare Q&A series, with in-depth explanations at the end of each class.
