Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group responsible for leading a team of Managers and Engineers to create and deploy global product/process standards enabling Design for Manufacturing solutions, following lean manufacturing principles. Areas of responsibility include Body-in-White, Paint and General Assembly process and systems.

Key accomplishments;

Achieved cost avoidance over $20M by changing product and process for new products.

Adapted new product ideas and develop it until validation based on new technology, benchmarking competitors, new ideas “innovation” and lesson learned.

Created and oversaw implementation of 180 global Product/Process Standards covering entire assembly plant process including NAFTA, APEC, EMEA and LATAM regions.

Benchmarked competitive vehicle sets for best in class EHPV/HPV and product design principles.

Led globally the Torque Commonization initiative resulting in a 75% reduction of unique torques

Manufacturing Engineering Launch Manager: 2001 - 2009

Successfully managed teams of Process Engineers to design, build, install and launch assembly tooling, equipment and processes for eight different products (Chrysler’s Minivan, Jeep and Large cars segments) at multiple assembly plants utilizing Simultaneous Engineering techniques alongside Product Engineering.
