RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting the plant manager to create operative strategies, communicate, monitor and ensuring the compliance of all relevant legislation and SHEQ systems, standards and procedures ISO 9001 implementation

Handling, organising and allocating plant in shifts, scheduling and controlling of production processes and preparing production documents.

Co-ordinates the activities of the warehouses operations, including receipt/storage/ issue and dispatch the requested materials to all departments in the plant, receiving and sampling of raw materials checking the quality of the starting material, managing the approvals, packaging, intermediates, bulk and finished products

Conducting In- line (in-process) testing to ensure compliance with SOPs

Quality improvement implementation, full knowledge of good manufacturing practices for pharmaceutical active ingredients and good laboratory practices

Preparing and reviewing quality report documentation and filing of documents

Monitoring quality aspects of manufacturing operation through in-process inspectors

Developing safety procedure and training employees handling hazardous chemicals and machinery

Purification of water for the manufacturing plant and waste water and waste products management

Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes, and evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Preparing the samples for analysis on the UV VIS analyzer, GC, FT-IR and HPLC and conducting trouble shooting of the instruments when necessary

Preparation of standards and reagents necessary for analytical procedures

Conducting and supervision of the inter-laboratory quality control tests from SAZ and MCAZ, and intra laboratory tests conducted between laboratories
