Layout concept design and Manufacturing of Engine Sub components

Designing of shafts, circlips, bushes, Studs, Washers, Fasteners and other Engine components with Creo.

Modelling, tolerance stack up, GD&T, design review and drawing release for Proto development, Alpha testing and production of sub- Engine components. Used Value Stream Mapping to identify bottlenecks in process flows and improved them and Standardized the assembly process by performing Kaizen events on assembly and testing process

Performed benchmarking on Competitor Engines and Conducting Design reviews with CFT team.

Involved in Procurement of Engine sub components and in the process of exploring alternative materials with cost reduction and Implementation of Lean manufacturing practices, MRP, SOP, Safety Environmental and Management System (SEAMS) and 5S team in the facility to provide employees a broader picture for using their tool.

Performed Endurance and durability performance testing with Testing Team and on road testing of Engine components followed by failure addressing, root cause analysis, DOE and problem solving.
