Project : Duba Green Integrated Solar Combine Cycle Power Plant

Client : Saudi Electricity Company

Position held : Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Duration : September 2017 to February 2018

Functional Area : Pre- Commissioning / Commissioning

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for Instruments field calibration and bench calibration Loop check, function checking task. Preparing daily documentation of the work progress.

Involved in pre commissioning activities like loop check and troubleshooting of the instruments, Logic Function checking etc.

Reviews the Loop Folders submitted by the subcontractor and ensure that it contains all the relevant documents.

Coordinating with the Operations and Safety department to solve the problems during construction and Loop checking.

Co coordinating with Operation to fix the problem in field instruments and DCS.

Troubleshooting if any problem in field instrument and its loop.

Monitoring daily Instruments installation and testing activities and verifying that it complies with the project specification.

Preparing daily documentation of the work progress.

Shall accompany the client representative to carryout routine inspection and release hold points by signing and obtaining the client representative approval signature on the various Quality and Test record as proof of inspection confirming to specification.

Responsible for engineering, programming, installation and recording data in regards to electrical/electromechanical information on the water pump stations

Develop electrical design (Power & Control circuit), Schematics and drawings in AutoCAD

Design and develop software applications i.e., SCADA/HMI based on given requirements and specifications.

Installation of field measuring instruments i.e., Flow meter, Level meter, Pressure Transmitters, Actuators and its connectivity with the controlling device.
