10-week clinical internship at a therapist-owned physical therapy outpatient practice. Evaluated, treated, and discharged geriatric, adult and pediatric patients with diverse diagnoses including total hip and knee replacement, RTC impingement, chronic lumbar, and cervical pain, degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, chronic migraine headaches, Charcot Marie Tooth Syndrome, adhesive capsulitis, and plantar fasciitis with significant autonomy. Responsible for the initial evaluation, plan of care, treatment, and education of up to 12 patients per day, supervision of support staff, and documentation of services. Treatments included manual therapy, joint mobilization, ROM, traction, stretching, strengthening, modalities, soft-tissue mobilization, neural mobilization, aquatic therapy, Kinesiotaping, IASTM, iontophoresis, and intra-oral manual therapy.
