As the QA Officer, collaborated with Software Leads and Program Management to respond to GDC4S CARs.

Performed Configuration Management Audits and reported finding, observations, and opportunities for improvement to Project Management. Worked with the PMO on test management document development and analysis. Preparation for CMMi audits.

As a Subcontractor to NASA Software Mission Assurance for the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite – R series (GOES-R) ensured NASA Standards and Procedures were followed by Prime and Secondary Contractors for flight and ground operations, processes, test management and documentation/CDRLs. Performed Process assessments/audits, generated observations and findings, and tracked and followed these until resolution for multiple parts of the satellite. Support of the Chief Security and Mission Safety Officer, the Software Mission Assurance Lead, and the Program Software Manager by generated final reports and presentations presented to the Program Office. As a QA Engineer for the En Route Automation Modernization Program (ERAM) and Automated Flight Service System (AFSS), performed inspections/audits for code, software architecture, test plans, and CDRLs. Updated processes, participated in preparation for CMMi, ISO 9001, and AS9100 audits. Lead Software Inspection team. Taught Inspection /Moderator Course for Code Inspections and Systems Issue Group Inspections to multiple corporate areas. Mentored other engineers on Quality Assurance Processes and how to perform inspections. Developed guidelines on improvement of the QA process.

On Electronic Customs Partnership (eCP) performed peer reviews and inspections for code, test documentation, and documentation deliverable to the customer. Ensured that test plans and corresponding documentation was accurate and compliant to requirements. Generated audit checklists and performed audits as part of a team of eCP and CBPMO Quality Assurance engineers. Witnessed Systems and Factory Acceptance Testing.

Managed a team that generated a Remittance Processing System Handbook for the Integrated Remittance Submission Processing (ISRP) System. Using MS Project assembled and generated the Master Schedule for the ISRP Project. Modified and updated over all Test Status and Code Inspection Data spreadsheets for project management. Assisted in data generation for RP testing. Performed analysis for COTS software and hardware for compatibility with present and future IRP operating systems. Modified designs based on construction restraints for TSA approval. Worked on the TSA airport design field guide to assure that TSA requirements were included and accurate to be tested. Ensured that test plans and corresponding documentation was accurate and compliant to requirements. Worked for the MSF (Mobile Screening Force) Rollout team to assure that the MSFs were deployed in the correct numbers for training the airport’s PSF.

Determined Performance Monitoring Data for stress testing the PRISM system. Analyzing the collected data and develop a strategy for process improvement. Prism is part of the Lockheed Martin Human Resources enterprise system. Performed analysis and performance engineering on LM People, MiTIC, eCat, ECLPS, Learning Management System, and Corporate Financial Oversight project. Generated presentations, requirements, system engineering, system architecture as well as other reports and studies. Modified System Engineering Plan to incorporate CMMi.

Metamor - Sr. IV&V Test Engineer – Contract Position Jul 1999 – Oct 1999

Developed templates and developed application system documentation ( i.e. Test Plans, Assessment, Remediation, and test scripts, etc.), IV&V Standard Operational Procedures, and IV&V Test Scripts for Magellan Health Services. Performed IV&V functions on multiple health care applications, which include documentation review, developing IV&V test scripts, executing the tests, and generating findings reports.

Other employment:

Performed various Quality Assurance functions on test plans, and other documentation as required. Performed IV&V as required for software requirements, software plans, software test, as well as other areas.

Performed Independent Verification and Validation for the OTC Surveillance/Marketing Porting project for NASD. These duties included verifying and validation project requirement documentation, test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Member of the NASD IV&V Technology Information Group that developed IV&V standards, policies, procedures, and practices for NASD. Wrote System Test Plan, designed and implemented software tests and Y2K tests for Customer Billing Information System.

Performed Independent Verification and Validation as well as Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions as a consultant to the Military Sealift Command (MSC). This included ensuring that software that was developedand tested met or exceeded the system requirements and met traceability standards as specified for MSC. Reviewed documents to assure that requirements were met or exceeded by contractors.

Performed sizing and timing analysis for Westinghouse as a consultant to Digital on the United Arab Emirates Air Defense Ground Environment System. Performed analysis on system design and configuration in order to optimize system resources in order to meet system performance specifications. Determined estimated processing time required for steady state operation of the system. Generated estimate of system network traffic and its impact on the FDDI. Wrote Timing and Sizing plan. Performed QA on technical memos for impact and accuracy assuring that all requirements were met and included in the documentation according to company standards. Used PowerPoint, WordPerfect, and MS Excel.

Performed QA in order to assure that the necessary System Level Requirements for the FBI's Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System and its components, ITN, III, and FICO, were included in the Master Test Plans, ICDs and Subsystem /Segment Requirement Specifications in accordance with MIL-STDs 2167, 2168, 1521, 498 and associated FIPS PUBS. Rewrote the system software specifications as required. Performed Quality Assurance for various system/software design and test documentation and plansin accordance with the required standards.

Generated Command, Control, and Data Flow Diagrams for NASA’s Space Station Freedom Program. Tasks included analysis of Robotic Control, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Life Support, Power, Thermal, and Space Flight Data, as well as Simulation and Modeling Techniques.
