I’m applying for the position of ultrasound technologist that I found on Glassdoor. I was a firefighter/paramedic for twelve years and decided to make a career change after learning about this profession. I’m a recent graduate of the Grand Valley State University Bachelor of Cardiovascular Sonography program. I have the RDCS and RVT credentials, as well as, the coursework to take the pediatrics examination if the required clinical hours are attained. My goal is to continue to learn while providing excellent patient care and high quality diagnostic exams.

Through the GVSU program I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings at four different facilities with varied protocols and instrumentation. Previously, I’ve spent 12 years working in healthcare as a paramedic/firefighter and developed excellent patient care skills in that time. With the combination of education and life experience I have confidence that I would be a very productive and enthusiastic contributor to your healthcare team.
