Battalion Operations Officer Fort Campbell, KY June 2017 - Present

Completed three-month Operations Management internship at Gap distribution center in Gallatin, TN.

Responsible for planning future operations and training for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Battalion (500 soldiers).

Develops and implements technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and levels of responsibility within organization. Planned and executed 2 training events for 120 personnel focused on explosives and weapons marksmanship.

Reviews and develops unit policies, procedures, concepts, and plans at the strategic and operational levels to support the organization’s training objectives and operational mission sets.

Effectively harnesses the continuum of MS Office products to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to ensure that satellite organizations are logistically and operationally ready to deploy at a moment’s notice.

Led eight-soldier EOD platoon in support of Army Special Operations Forces on nine-month combat deployment.

Ensured the Platoon safely disarmed and disposed of 763 Improvised Explosive Devices (IED’s) and 2157 pieces of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO’s) while deployed to Iraq, Syria, and Turkey.

Personally cleared and removed 7 IED’s, 4 UXO’s, and 3 IED storage facilities from the battlefield and successfully evacuated wounded partner and Green Beret from Syria to Turkey following IED blast. EOD Officer Trainee Eglin AFB, FL May 2013 - Jan 2015
