Database Design and Management: Designed and implemented new student file database for college recruiting officers. Updated existing customer database (fourfold to 5,000 entries) using visitor sign-in book and company orders for marketing and informational mailings.

Data Entry: Recorded incoming student information into database for various Officer Training Command, Newport (OTCN) class courses and instructor and management needs.

Reports: Produced various reports for several external as well as internal organizations that needed to know who we had on board at any one time. Located students scheduled to be in class but were absent.

Class-Size Controls: Kept track of quota controls to make sue that the number of students who had requested seats for various classes did not go over the spaces available.

Liaison: Acted as liaison between students and Personnel Support Detachment to provide students with as much assistance with PSD matters as possible to ensure that students were paid for their military service on time.

Inventory Management: Managed requests for office supplies and executed orders for individual programs. Took requests for other staff for requests of what they needed to complete their daily work. Ordered what was needed and managed any that was left over.

General Program Management: Daily interaction with students and staff required to make sure the program ran smoothly.

Other: General knowledge of shorthand, accounting, bookkeeping, database entry, cash register operation and legal transcription. As the admin lead for the Direct Commission Officer program I was required to speak at a 2 hour briefing to obtain the required paperwork (verification sheets) from the students to make sure they got their pay promptly.
