Discharge Measurement of Open Channel Flow: Flumes Description: Measurement of discharge using flumes specifically- Standing Wave Flume, Venturi-Flume, Partial Flume and Cut-throat Flume in which Partial Flume proved to be the most economical and efficient using Skogerboe’s Equation. Duration - 8 months.

2. M.E. Application of Six Sigma in Construction: A Review & Analysis Description: Applying Six Sigma principles in internal finishing works of a building to eliminate defects and computing the process sigma value in the first part of analysis which depicts the improvement in the quality of work and improvement in the process of work executed which is directly proportional to the yield from the standard sigma conversion table. The sigma value in terms of standard deviation is also computed in the second part of analysis which depicts that there is very less deviation in the process and quality from the mean.

Duration - 12 months.
