PROJECTS
Re-Design of Screw Conveyor System 08/2017 - 12/2017
Created and maintained detailed drawings of mechanical systems, translated design requirements into CAD deliverables and generated 3D model, detailed 2D orthograph projections and assembled using SolidWorks along with technical drawings, product drawings detailing the manufacturing and assembly of components.
Designed and developed components of screw conveyor system inclined at 10 degree, for flow rate of 400 cu.ft/hr and 19 feet long as a part of a team from concept to reality.
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T) callouts to drawings are followed for individual components for defining engineering tolerances as prescribed in ASME Y14.5-2009.
Performed complex 3D tolerance analysis, performed tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure proper fit and function.
Made product modifications and improvements based on current service needs and market strategy- high corrosive resistance, lower flow deviation from the required output.
Converted customer technical requirements into product specification report, updated and maintained them to keep in line with targets.
Concept, design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and final products.
Design And 3D Printing of Mechanical Prosthetic Mitral Heart Valve Using FDM Rapid Prototype Process 06/2014 - 06/2015
- Generated 3D model, detailed 2D orthograph projections and assembled using SolidWorks. Exported the file to a 3D printer. Evaluated design using anatomic data -performed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Ansys to calculate velocity distribution with pressure in heart as the driving force and determined that design meets function.
3D Model of Single Step Planetary Gearbox 06/2014 - 06/2015
-Created 3D model, detailed 2D orthograph projections, specifications for components and assemblies of planetary gearbox and assembled in SolidWorks utilizing SolidWorks toolbox for gears, roller bearings, nuts, bolts and washers.
Finite Element Analysis of GoKart Chassis 08/2014 - 12/2014
-Performed FEA on chassis of go kart using Ansys for safety factor, performed mesh convergence study and found maximum stress, its location and determined that design meets function.
