MEDICAL EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE:

I have over two years experience working as a Physician Assistant in an integrated mental health and primary care outpatient safety net clinic on the rural Eastern Shore of Maryland. Until recently, I was the only full time medical staff member and thus the sole provider available for the medical needs of 2300 patients who present by appointment and walk-ins (same day access). I am competent and comfortable caring for both acute and chronic, often complex medical conditions. Working in an integrated care environment has deepened my understanding of and skills treating challenging patients with co-morbid conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance abuse.
