Federal Clerkship: Drafted Orders and Reports and Recommendations for U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey C. Manske’s signature on all matters of federal jurisdiction, including habeas corpus petitions, civil rights actions arising under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, social security appeals, complex civil matters (including patent law, Miller Act, federal employment law, intellectual property, and state-law matters in diversity). Assisted the Judge with research and strategy for court-ordered mediations and assisted in his preparation for presentations and speaking engagements.
