Responsible for hardware break/fix at the enterprise level. Perform research and develop/implement proactive change management activities.

Responsible for firmware upgrades to systems and peripherals including, but not limited to, network and fiber optic devices, disk drives and CISCO routers and switches.

Trained in all Hewlett Packard hardware from COMPAQ net servers to large optical and tape libraries including STORAGETEK, FILENET and CONVEX computer hardware.

Have been site specific service lead for major enterprise sites supporting the HP Superdome line of PARISC and ITANIUM based architectures. This also includes disk arrays such as HP EVA and HITACHI in a SAN environment as well as HP BLADE systems.

Responsible for preinstall site inspections, installation, (cabling and labeling), upgrade and configuration of the above mentioned .

Working with Hewlett Packard, I was responsible for coordinating and performing special projects. Some of those projects included, what we called roll outs. This was upgrades to customer’s current configurations to new equipment. This included removing outdated servers/cabling/POS terminals and installing/configuring new equipment. Some of the larger accounts where WALMART/APPLEBES/ACE HARDWARE/MACARONI GRILL/PETSMART/COSCO/HOME DEPOT and others including the reservation systems for WORLDSPAN and STATE FARM among others. I coordinated the scheduling and gathered teams for this work to meet the customer’s needs and all of this work was performed after hours according to the customer’s schedules.
