Responsibilities: Responsible for all power reticulation and water to entire mine.

voltage reticulation in an opencast mining environment up tp 33KV. Maintenance,

Overhauling, fault finding and repairs to transformers, substation switch gear, motors, generators, compressors, boreholes, fans and UPS units. Installations, commissioning and fault finding of programming and interlocking with instrumentation and control devices including pro-fibus systems. Conduct periodic infrared inspection tests. Rendered technical drawings and electrical systems specifications that exceeded company standards. Performed in depth electrical acceptance testing of completed hardware including continuity and high potential isolation testing. Manage engineering changes using SAP systems.
