KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Over fifteen years of experience in mechanical engineering projects including management, design, preparation and modification of technical documents with responsibilities to coordinate a project from study to design and through construction, start-up and commissioning
Design the most appropriate mechanical systems within the client’s budget and time limitations, while working successfully in a multi-disciplined team environment on multiple projects.
Design HPU, HPL, HVAC, piping systems, fire protection, sanitary, steam, storm systems and mechanical utilities
Performed calculations for storm water, sewage system, compressed air, heating and cooling load, fire protection, hydraulic system, utilize programs
Utilize AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Solid works, and Revit to create drawing packages including equipment and pipe/duct arrangements, plan views, riser diagrams, P&ID, schedules and specifications
Design P&ID and select mechanical equipment such as pumps, instruments, filters, switches and govern cost estimation
Perform on site investigation of existing mechanical systems
Review technical guidelines in equipment selection, layout design and review other engineers work, including design and specifications
Knowledge relative to energy efficiency of central plant equipment type and installation
Experience in installation, commissioning and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems; HPU, HVAC, fire protection systems and pumps
Good knowledge of ASHRAE, API, NFPA, ASME/ ASTM and ANSI standards
Knowledge of co-generation and renewable energy systems
Problem-solving and analytical skills as evidenced by ability to provide analysis and recommendations to improve system operations
Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for the discipline with clients. Resolve customer concerns, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures during feasibility studies, design, construction, installation and commissioning
Experienced in Quality and Safety Management Systems in various fields such as manufacturing, and engineering, and worked as internal ISO Auditor
