Took over operations of a poorly-running HR Department for a severely under-staffed Juvenile Detention Center with 400 employees with a staffing plan that called for 515 employees.

Used a Change Management approach to ensure the new organizational culture was successfully established.

Administered on-boarding procedures for more than 380 new-hires in four years.

Led a Kaizen blast on payroll which eliminated the use of timecards, reduced supervisor paperwork, reduced payroll errors and reduced payroll processing time by 70%.

Led several operations improvement teams focused on benefits and performance management.

Eliminated automatic annual raises which created new opportunities for career advancement based on cross training, improving morale and participation in cross-training.

Implemented and led a new First Responder Safety Team improving safety awareness throughout the plant.
