Project: Manual testing of Campaign Management UI Application Company: Aurus Inc.

Role Description: Played the role of QA Lead, hands on Automation tester and Onsite Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

Coordinated with Business analysts, team managers and developers to test the UI and played the role of a liaison between on site and Offshore offices and leading the offshore team from the client site.

Drive the regression testing cycles as per the development team updates and attend the daily scrum meetings. The sprints were two weeks long and there would be a full regression test after each sprint.

Logging defect in Jira and working with development teams to fix bugs. Was also part of transitioning our testing team from fully manual to automation test team.

Plan and lead conversion of routine tests into automated scripts and cases using Selenium

Select new offshore resources to help the team with the transitioning from manual to automation testing.

Role Description: Played the role of a Sr. Software Test Engineer in Test and Onsite Coordinator for team (7 members).

Responsibilities:

Worked on automation for the final testing stage of an SAP implementation for National Grid.

Coordinate testing with 10 other teams for cross module/integration scenarios and to get information so as to build full test coverage

Coordinate with offshore team and allocate unit tests, system tests, regression tests and user acceptance tests based on each member’s strengths

This would also lead to realignment of the team into a multi technology process specific model.

Role Description: Performance tester for BNYM’s application.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate Testing across various applications and simulate an end to end transaction

Understand scenarios for various transaction paths and determine best simulations to be scripted

Create test cases for load testing and analyze various corner cases

Perform end to end testing to analyze bottlenecks and dragonize the root cause of the bottlenecks.

Project Snapshot: The application enabled us to provide services to various end users/customers of the Client products for installation and access, through SPM- mainframe application. I was involved in several large enhancements and modernization initiatives for the front end as well as reporting needs.

Role Description: Was part of resolving tickets raised by Thomson Reuters clients when they would face errors while processing tasks on their application. As part of T&M’s did a lot of coding for the enhancements using COBOL, VSAM and DB2. Also had to fire query’s in DB2 to resolve the tickets as they dealt with a lot of databases as backend.
