PROJECT
VLSI Implementation of Packet Classification April 2016 The purpose of the project is to improve routing efficiency of computer networks. Three algorithms namely Linear Search, 2-level median based search and 3-level median based search, were implemented using a hardware description language (VHDL on Xilinx Integrated Synthesis Environment 14.6) and compared in the project. The parameters tested were total memory usage, hardware complexity, minimum input arrival time, maximum output required time and packet classification rate. The 2-level median based search is the optimum algorithm among the three TECHNICAL SKILLS

ACTIVITIES
English Club 2012
Having been a part of the
English Club, my
communication and writing
skills are strong. I bagged
laurels on behalf of the
department at school.
Furthermore, I went on to win
at a Creative writing contest
back in College, in the year
2015.
algorithms that can be used to improve the routing efficiency. The 2-level median based search has a higher packet classification rate (1.95 million packets per second) compared to the Linear search and 3-level median based search algorithms. The 2-level median based search has a speed optimization of 39.4549% compared to the Linear search; the 3-level median based search has a speed optimization of 38.9810% compared to the Linear search.
EXTRA ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
Doordarshan TV network facility December 2015
Was taught about antennas and how they pick up signals and relay it to the broadcaster that broadcasts the signals across different channels, with each channel having a different frequency band.
Model United Nations (MUN) Workshop July 2016
Participated in a Model United Nations (MUN) Workshop conducted by Young Leaders Consortium- Participating in this Workshop taught me to be a teamplayer, to listen to what everyone has to say. Economics Club October 2015
Member of the Economics Club. Responsible for problems solving and troubleshooting issues and facilitating a smooth transition of the governing body of the Economics club.
Laser Beams and Refraction August 2014
Presentation on Laser beams and refraction – It was a presentation on the basic laws of optics such as Refraction, Reflection and even Optical Illusion using a laser beam.
Cybercrime February 2016
Participated in a seminar on cyber crime conducted by cyber security experts at Rakshit Tandon. T his seminar showed how encryption and decryption can help a lot of people if used in the right way.
Content Writing for Inflexion Tribe, Singapore - October 2017 This internship taught me punctuality and sensitivity to customers/target audience.
Economics Club 2014
Whilst a part of this club in
College, I was incharge of
dealing and handling of
general social issues for the
club.
