Complete commitment your organiztion.
Having worked in Healthcare for over 30 years as a staff registered nurse (RN), Operating room RN, multiple charge positions, Nurse manager and DON/DQM, I feel I have the background to provide effective patient care, leadership, teaching, and guidance in a cost efficient manner while maintaining budgetary constraints.
I am proud to say my team mates, staff and Senior management use some the verbiage below use to describe me:
Will do the right thing in all situations
Calm and collective in all affairs
Dedicated, Considerate, and Listens
Approachable
Leads by example
Great nursing skills
By achieving my MBA, I have developed as a strong leader. Here are some example of my past and current work:
As a director of surgical service, my procedures went from 400 procedures a month to over 650 while maintaining my man/hour per stat.
As the Director of Telemetry, I maintained supply cost below the national average and drove the medication reconciliation committee.
As nurse manager for LifeCare, I started, trained and maintained the Endoscopy program, including Conscious sedation program.
As the DON/DQM, I have taken my NHPPD from 9.0 to 8.0. I reduced agency cost from 45,000 to below 5000. I went through a successful joint commission survey after only being there for 4 months.
I hope this will give some insight to my business and nursing skills.
I hope to hearing from you.
