PROJECT
Data Acquisition for Automotive Powertrains
Programmed close loop LabVIEW block diagram to preform:
Read the raw data including MAP, AFR, MAF density and torque, then calculated power, density of intake charge, MAF, and air-fuel ratio
Carried out pressure pegging and thermal efficiency analysis
Displayed the results for Maximum values of power, MAT, MAP, fuel flow rate (g/s) in front panel
Six-sigma project
Reduce the scratch damage rate of sand core of cylinder liner with Six-Sigma:
Defined internal and external customer, critical to customers (VOC), and company baseline goals
Measured main factors affecting quality and decided FMEA and DOE, accordingly
Applied Chi-Square to set quality improve and control plan
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Utilized CFD to optimized and investigate various systems relating to Internal Combustion Engine
1.Measured pressure-drop and flow uniformity of Automotive catalytic with ANSYS fluent
2.Engine sector non-premixed Combustion for spray break-up with CONVERGE
3.Non-premixed turbulent flame with ANSYS fluent
