During my time as an employee I have had two permanent jobs, all of which have required me to work as part of a team and to deal directly with the public. Receive and locate all incoming merchandise from truck and other sources into Receiving bays provided
Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks
Properly check in at time of receiving the goods and supplies
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure packaging meets specifications
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the warehouse
Help control inventory
Responsible for the lock down of each bay and personnel door located in the warehouse
Responsible for merchandise transfer
Deliver paperwork to inventory office in timely manner after issues
Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records
Labeling of stock
